Hearst Museum object titled Plate, accession number 9-12706a,b, described as plate, porcelain.  blue and white 'willow ware', probably Nanking pattern.  wide w/ curved up rim and slightly depressed center.  very short recessed base.  well executed river and mountain scene w/ willow and other trees and various figures, represented in deep blue underglaze washes and linear detail.  lozange-diaper pattern band in blue around rim w/ dark dotted lower fringe.  underside plain except 4-character shop mark on center.  chips in rim.  h. 3 cm.  dia. 24.5 cm.
Hearst Museum object titled Saucers, accession number 9-12713a,b, described as saucers, porcelain, blue and white tradeware, w/ openwork borders.  flat bottom w/out cavetto, concave sides slightly turned up at rim.  recessed base.  large medallion on bottom containing conventional river and temple scene, (a & b) slightly different foliage etc., in linear and wash underglaze blue of light tone.  double circles around medallion, and on rim.  openwork consists of two rows of cut-out rectangles in curved sides.
