Hearst Museum object titled Crested miniature, accession number 7-10123, described as pitcher; bottom described as "Roman ewer from original in Hospitium found at York". general shape is egg shaped with a flattened bottom. the top is tied off with a modeled rope, with no evident ties. the mouth flutes out to create the mouth. the center is folded inwards on opposite sides towards each other creating a key hole shaped mouth. the handle is attached to the fluted area below the mouth tracing it up and above the mouth arching tightly over connecting to the top third of the body. the crest is a bevel shaped shield divided in a chief style and per Pale style. the top chief style section is divided into thirds vertically, the middle section being the widest whose side borders curve inward; the background is white with three black wrens stacked. the outer thirds are black with a white lion centered on all fours with its right paw lifted. in the lower per Pale portion of the shield the right half has been divided in half again vertically. the right half white, the left half light blue in each half centered top is a white lion on its hind legs. in the center of this half of the shield, overlapping both smaller halves is a larger lion on its hind legs. on the left side of the shield is a red stag with yellow ribbon with the town name "Killarney". made by Arcadian China, 1903-1910.

Hearst Museum object titled Crested miniature, accession number 7-10130, described as pitcher; general shape is vertical ellipse with a small cylindrical foot, only 1 or 2 mm in height. as the top begins to narrow it curves out to the gold trimmed mouth. the handle is ear-shaped attaching below the mouth curving around widening as it attaches to the widest area on the ellipse. crest has an ornamental shaped shield with a red background in the center is a yellow cross with Jesus. on the right side of the shield is an elephant on its hind legs supporting the shield with its front feet. it is striding towards the shield standing on a white florid stand. on the left side of the shield is a two-humped camel on its hind legs supporting the shield with its front feet; it also strides towards the shield and stands on a white florid stand. draped from both stands is a yellow ribbon with the Latin phrase "Con Cordia et Fidelitas", beneath the ribbon is written "Inverness". above the shield is a cornicopia standing on a yellow red diagonally striped bar. made by Arcadian China, 1903-1910.

Body of the pitcher is spherical that narrows to a straight cylinder creating a neck with two horizontal, faint ridges, one around the base of the neck, the other around the lip. The mouth is trimmed in gold. The handle is square attached from the lip to mid-body. The shield is Rounded Continental in shape, it is solid red save for three diagonal yellow stripes leaning to the left and moving rightward begining smaller from the top left corner the third strip is through the center of the shield, the bottom left of the shield remains solid red. Directly on top of the shield is a three masted ship on a light blue ocean (image is faded). Supporting the shield at the bottom sides are two creatures. The right creature is a lion whose face is frontal wearing a red crown. The left creature is a unicorn-like horse with two horns. Both creatures are stepping foward towards the shield, both wear a red rose on their shoulder. The front leg farthest from the reach for the other narrowing to small points. Where the two feet meet is a red and yellow striped, horizontal bar which has on top a green globe. The stand both creatures are standing on is a white filagry branch. Draped beneath the shield (by the two stands) is a yellow ribbon with Latin script which reads "Concilio et Labore" beneath this ribbon is written "Manchester" Made by W.H. Goss 1858-1887

Hearst Museum object titled Crested miniature, accession number 7-10147, described as pitcher. bottom section is a horizontal ellipse with a very short cylindrical foot. at the widest edge of the ellipse it turns sharply, elongating to a narrow cylindrical neck, extending from the top third at a slight angle is the pouring spout dipping away from the mouth. the handle is ear shaped attaching to the central neck curving around lengthening to where it attaches where the ellipse sharply inward. mouth and handle trimmed in gold. the crest has an edged shaped shield with an orange background in the center are two axes that cross over each other, at the bottom of the handle, they turn to meet creating a triangle. behind the crossed axes is a wreath of acorn branches crossing at the bottom. between the two axe heads and acorn branches is a yellow crown ornately decorated. beneath the shield is a scrolling yellow ribbon with the phrase "A Dh'Aindeoin Co Theireadh E", beneath the ribbon is written "Fort William". made by Foley China before 1906, owned by Shelly China.

Hearst Museum object titled Crested miniature, accession number 7-10156, described as pitcher, general shape is elliptical becoming more triangulated on the top half, which forms a small neck that flutes out ovular for the mouth. then center of the oval (on the width) is pinched inwards. the mouth is trimmed in gold. the handle is formed from the mouth molded straight up, curving out and down at a sharp arched angle connecting to the widest width of the ellipse. the glaze on this vessel is a crackle glaze. the shield is a beveled shape with a light blue background. in the center, almost dividing the shield in quarters, is a crosslet style cross in yellow. in each of the quarter spaces around the cross and beneath are brown wrens. under the shield is a yellow scrolling ribbon with the writing "Guildford Ancient". there are no makers' marks.

General shape is ellipse (length wise). Two small rounded handles on the "shoulder" of the vase. The neck is a short and straight cylinder with a gold trimmed mouth. The shield is edged shaped is divided in cross style. Althernating blue and yellow. Top left is blue with a lion standing on its hind legs. Outlining the cross is yellow. The top right is yellow with a bull with a green boarder against the cross. Bottom left is yellow with a prasing man (standing with his arms up, wearing a brown robe), the bottom right is blue with a serpand dragon, with a yellow boarder against the white cross. On either side of the shield is a man with fawn legs and angel wings for arms. The outside wing is pulled in with the bottom swooping accross the waist. The inside wing is stretched out over the shield reaching to eachother, creating a triangular shape. Inside this space is a triangulated architectual feature resting on a blue and yellow, diagonally striped pole (horizontal) which balances on the top of the shield. Beneath the shield and supporting the two men, is a yellow ribbon with hebrew script below stating "Grand Lodge of Ireland" Made by G.H. Goss 1884-1914

Now in Museum." cylindrical in shape with an inward angle, curves inwards to make a small, short neck, mouth is trimmed in gold. beneath the neck is a squared attachment with centered holes. along the right side is a waved ridge with a flat edge. around the bottle base is a double line of raised dashes. the shield is an edged style divided per Pale, white on the left, red on the right. in the upper left corner is green globe; upper right is a ram hanging from a harness tied to its waist. center bottom is a grey shore bird holding a green fish in its beak. in the center of the shield is a bloomed rose halved by the dividing line with opposite colors to the background (red on the left, white on the right). beneath the shield is a scrolling ribbon with Latin writing "Olim Armis Nunc Studiis". below this is "Victoria University". made by W.H. Goss, 1858-1887.
