Silk neckpiece and floss purchased from Chinese in town (no intermarriage). Similar story as for 1-15618: cloth purchased from largest store in Coban, called "Deatz", owned by a German family. Only women married to Germans could afford this cloth. Applique work at neck was done freehand, without the use of pattern pieces.
