Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-10060, described as Basket; coiled. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Three stick basket with black design called yutappa, said to mean “hanging down”.

Deep and slightly flaring, executed in 3-rod coiling technique. Decoration consists of a band of solid arrowheads of deep red pointing alternately up and downwards, placed near the rim and encircling the basket.

Bottom has been mended, and the rim is damaged in several areas.

Red pattern is Redbud. Apparently two baskets, elliptical and recurved, joined by a flat basketry foundation. Both the foundation and the baskets are coiled. Decoration: smaller basket has open red diamond figures in a design termed "rare" by Samuel A. Barrett; larger basket has red variant on zigzag pattern. Designs are in redbud.

Wide-mouthed with sloping sides. Decoration: solid black triangles and rectangles. 3-rod coiling with interlocking stitches. There is fairly extensive rim damage.
