Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-9935, described as Coiled; wide-mouthed with sloping sides.  Decoration: black diamonds arranged in a 3-lobed diagonal zigzag which encircles basket. Design material is bracken fern root. 3-rod coiling with interlocking stitches.

Deep and slightly flaring, executed in 3-rod coiling technique.
