Hearst Museum object titled Seeds, accession number 1-211582, described as Sisymbrium (probably incisum). The specimen consists of seeds and fruit fragments of Descurainia sophia (L.) Webb ex Prantl, flixweed, Brassicaceae. Native to Eurasia. Note: Some fruits are 26 mm long, 1mm wide, and having more than 14 seeds. Identification based on treatment in Hickman, J. C., 1993, The Jepson Manual: Higher Plants of California, University of California Press. Other items found and placed in gelatin capsule: Fruit and seed comparing well with Lepidium perfoliatum L., clasping pepperwort, Brassicaceae.
