Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-10295, described as Basket; twined. Warp is unpeeled Willow (Salix), weft is Willow. Red pattern is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Willow handle and rim. Elliptical in form, with handle.  Moderately open diagonal twine; deep red rectangular designs.
Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-10167, described as Receptacle basket; twined. Warp is unpeeled Willow (Salix), weft is Pine (Pinus). Small and conical in shape.  A cloth strap attached to the rim attests to its having been hung when in use. Coarse, open diagonal twine, with 3 rows of plain twine beneath the rim. The bark on the materials is both stripped and unstripped (warp) and, in the case of the weft material, stripped until near the rim, where reddish-colored bark provides a contrast with the light-colored (and stripped) weft.

Wide-mouthed with sloping sides.  Large and deep.  Decoration: rectangular bands, in black, arranged in 4 columns around basket. Bottom of basket has been repaired.

Wide-mouthed with flaring sides.  Decoration: very faint band of solid red triangles, alternately up and downwards pointing, beneath rim. 3-rod coiling with interlocking stitches.
Hearst Museum object titled Canoe shaped basket, accession number 1-10157, described as Basket; Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Boat-shaped.  Decoration: black geometrical figures. Design material is brackenfern root. Upper portion is single-rod coiling with interlocking stitches; lower portion is coiling on a multiple rod foundation with split stitches. Lower part of basket is designed, upper part is not.
Hearst Museum object titled Cooking basket, accession number 1-10183, described as Cooking basket; twined. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Red pattern is Redbud. Single-rod coiling with interlocking stitches; rather small in size.  The decoration, which is so badly damaged as to be almost obliterated, appears to have consisted of double V-shaped zigzag lines, in red, encircling the basket.

Hearst Museum object titled Seed beater, accession number 1-10186, described as Basket; twined. Warp and weft are Willow (Salix). Alteration of peeled and unpeeled warp, producing striped light and dark effect. Weft is completely peeled. With cloth-wrapped handle.
