Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-10294, described as Basket; coiled. Warp is Hazel (Corylus cornuta californica), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Red pattern is Redbud. 3-Rod coiling with non-interlocking stitches; wide-mouthed with sloping sides. 2 horizontal bands of large, solid red triangles. Bottom has been mended, and the rim is damaged in several areas.

Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-10295, described as Basket; twined. Warp is unpeeled Willow (Salix), weft is Willow. Red pattern is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Willow handle and rim. Elliptical in form, with handle. Moderately open diagonal twine; deep red rectangular designs.

Globose in shape. Coiled with a grass bundle foundation with non-interlocking stitches. Decoration: 7 concentric, horizontal bands of black triangles alternately pointing towards rim and downwards. Arrowhead motif.
