Painted geometric decoration. Surface abrasion, crack at handle base and ibex horns, also along interior of bowl, chip from low footed base. Hearst Museum object titled Bowl, accession number 8-8000, described as Bowl; shallow, conical bowl, curving inward at top; flat rim, two pinched ribbon handles, low foot. Painted, banded decoration, from center: four concentric circles, two broad bands with thin lines between; a frieze of six stylized birds, a broad band near rim. Top of rim and handle painted, two bands on exterior and one around foot. Broken and mended with one small patch in plaster. Typical Cypro- Mycenaean shape.
