Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-143101, described as Small.  Tag: "Klamath R. Tribes Att.". Per Ralph Shanks:  Globular basket bowl. The basket has a crossed warp starting knot, indented.  The warp material is probably hazel.  The background weft is conifer root.  The weft overlay is beargrass and maidenhair fern.  At the starting knot there is diagonal twining that extends 1.5 inches past the edge of the base, interrupted by three rows of three strand twining at the edge of the base.  Plain twining continues up to the rim where there are two weft rows of three strand twining.  Some of the diagonal twining has beargrass overlay. The design is an undulating horizontal band of maidenhair fern.  The basket has an up to the right slant of weft twist.  The basket has a rightward work direction with an exterior workface.  The overlay is on the outside.  The rim is trimmed.  The basket is from Northwestern California.
