Hearst Museum object titled Book, accession number 18-1252, described as Book with lontar palm leaves with incised letters and bamboo (?) outer wrappers; bronze Chinese coin attached to cord which holds book together. Book is in Pisau writing, in the Sasak language, and deals with the kings in Lombok. It is ca. 150 years old at time of accessioning (so ca. 1830). It was formerly owned by Raja Selaparang. At the time collected only a few people could still red the book. Length 16.5 cm.
