Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 11-44100, described as woven basket or bowl made from pandamas leaf is natural, orange and brown.  base woven with 2 bands of natural and orange; side woven with natural then brown band and finishes with 2 rows of natural.  basket foundation coils are wrapped rice woven, then joined to the next coil at specific points thus forming first quadrants then 1/8's then sixteenths, forming a sort of open work pattern.
