Hearst Museum object titled Mola, accession number 3-27475, described as 'mola'; meander pattern with filler in 2 corners.  alternating bands of two-layer applique and 4-layer applique using 'dientes' (ric-rac effect).  4-layers and 2-layers: orange ground with either single applique band or 2nd layer of black, red 4th, and 3rd of multicolored 'dientes'; with 'oba gala' (red layers); 14 colors total.  black layer is machine stitched.
