A special figure; use is personal, but generally it serves as messenger to ancestor and god. One must serve and pray to it before any undertaking to ensure protection and success. Top figure is usually considered to represent the owner. Meant to represent a bigger “ivri” kept in another village by one of the quarter of Owhe which originally belonged to the youngest son of the founder of Owhe. Tribal mark indicated age group of original image -- indicated association with village which Owhe broke away from and date of this event.
