Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-71059, described as Twined, bowl shape with incurving rim. Per Ralph Shanks: Materials are shoot warps, conifer root weft, overlay background is beargrass, and overlay design in redbud. Design includes four diagonal bands of crosses and three larger diagonal bands of deer rib designs. Basket is primarily plain twined with starting knot surrounded by three strand twining. Up to the right slant of weft twist. Designs suggest possible Atsugewi attribution although it could be Achumawi.
