The workface is on the interior, with a rightward work direction. The basket has primarly clipped as well as some bound under weft fag ends. The rim is plain wrapped with a double coil ending, each with tapered herringbone stitching. The additional coil ending is probably formed by adding a coil after the the first coil ending, where the tag is currently located . This was done probably to continue to maintain two plain coils above the main design. The basket is probably Cahuilla, based on the use of the clipped fag ends and the design layout.
