Hearst Museum object titled Pipe, accession number 2-20179, described as Tobacco pipe, effigy type, black argillite bear and human figures (bear eating one man, another man fleeing; "figurehead" carved on front of bowl).  Single stem.  "Similar to GLENBOW's A62.62.56, but not carved as sensitively.  Human face on bowl is "salmonizing", nose curves into mouth, death mouth: 3 wrinkles at corners.
