Weft designs are black dyed juncus and orange juncas. The background wefts appears to be tan juncus.  The design is a band of orange juncus surrounded  above and below by bands of black dyed juncus undulations.  One short line of black dyed juncus is at the side.  The basket has an interior workface with a rightward work direction.  The start is tightly woven.  The weft fag ends are bound under. The rim is plain wrapped with a herringbone ending, with the very end missing.  Based on the techniques, design, and materials,  this basket is from the Cahuilla.
