Hearst Museum object titled Plate basket, accession number 1-12019, described as Openwork twined basket with warp turned down border, the ends of the warp sticks being inside instead of outside the basket.  Tag:  "Yuki". Per Ralph Shanks:  Openwork twined basket bowl.  Used, with wear and some residue.  The start is a cross-warped twined start.  The warp foundation is primarily unpeeled shoot rods.  The background wefts are unknown unpeeled red shoot and the design wefts are peeled.  The design is one horizontal band of peeled material. The rim is made of warps bound down to the right on the interior of the basket, forming a looped trim on the rim.  The basket has an exterior work face, a rightward work direction, and an up to the right slant of weft twist.
