Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-4098, described as Basket; coiled. Warp is grass, weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). With incurving top.  This is a treasure basket.  Decoration: vertical diamond and zigzag patterns outlined in black. Made of maple and Pteridium; 3-rod coiling, with interlocking stitches.
Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-10350, described as Bowl basket; coiled. Warp is Epicampes (Sporobolus rigens), weft is Sedge root (Carex). Pattern is mud-dyed Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Coiled on grass bundle foundation with non-interlocking stitches; flattish in form, with flaring sides.  Decoration: horizontal black zigzag design beneath rim.
Hearst Museum object titled Cradle, accession number 1-10057, described as Cradle; twined. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Maple (Acer macrophyllum). Headpiece is Willow. Open, diagonally twined; with cloth and leather lashings and dome-shaped head piece; the head piece has bits of colored cloth tied to it.  No other decoration.
