Hearst Museum object titled Bag, accession number 2-71324, described as Dark green and dark blue silk velvet with pink silk ribbon trim at upper edge, remnants of silk cloth lining over paper, curved around lower edge, all-over floral design using multicolored glass seed beads on both sides, loops of yellow glass seed beads around sides and lower edge, some beads missing from loops and in parts of floral design. Handsewn; cotton thread; lazy stitch.
Hearst Museum object titled Bag, accession number 2-71325, described as Dark brown silk velvet with cotton muslin over paper lining, black silk gro-grain ribbon at upper edge, red cotton cloth (worn and torn) around sides and lower edge, lower edge scalloped, 2 flaps, on one side flap conceals small opening, all-over floral design using multicolored glass beads, outlined in blue and white. Handsewn, lazy stitch, raised.
