A strong resemblance to two Syrian pieces already in the Hilden collection, #s 115, 116, which I bought in Aleppo. sheep wool rust colored weft. S-ply possibly natural dyes. 23 EPI, ends hemmed crudely. Some edges torn, unraveling parts of seam which Hilden repaired.
