Hearst Museum object titled Coin bank, accession number 3-30764, described as SCULPTURE/BANK: Ceramic sculpture of a grotesque, imaginary creature. The figure is 4-legged, with a head at the front end of its body and a second head at the back end of its body. Both heads face toward the front of the animal and feature wide mouths with teeth all the way around the orifice. Round, applied eyes are atop each head. The second head also has a tongue, and two spines on the back of the head. The figure is painted orange, with blue splatted on chest, top of head, hindquarters and cheeks. Eyes and the ends of each foot are painted blue. Teeth are slightly highlighted with gold paint. Loose bits of clay are inside the figure. NOTE: one tooth is broken from the lower jaw of the foremost head.
