: Hearst Museum object titled Alabastron, accession number 8-6548, described as Corinthian black figured alabastron; mouthpiece ancient but alien; black glaze fired tan; two lions confronted, with heads turned back; incised rosettes in field; tongues in shoulder; rosette on bottom; rings on top and edge of mouth; original part of handle preserves glaze on back.
