Pole end bound w. narrow white band extending 10½ inches.  Cotton.  red, yellow, grey (faded navy or purple).  Machine sewn, selvedge edges, hemmed end.  20¼  inches by 28¾ inches.

White ground, gold, green, blue and yellow embroidery.  Floral motives.  Sewn through embroidery.  Flag Fan of XVIC form and in the style of Venice.  The material of shich the fan is made is an old Turkish Tomb Towel embroidered in darning stitch and laid gold work.  18 inch staff, 9½ by 11½ field.

Top decorated with 3 leaf shapes, 3 sided hole with orange silk braid and tassel on center top.  Bottom has 3 feathers like bottom of a wreath tied with a bow, and 4 characters.  Raised rim.  Good condition, tassel is worn.
