Four 13 inch squares containing each a different god & various other symbols, flowers, leaves.  Each sq. surrounded by strips of plain linen ornamented by spaced motifs of reticello.  Entire cloth edged by ⅝ inch pointed edging in same tech as squares.  Excellent condition.  33½ inches square.

One large sheep in profile with decorative curly wool; group of 24 little sheep form circle on large sheep's side.  Designed by Mrs. Avien, a Swedish designer who taught at UC Berkeley in 1968.  She gave this to C.E. Rossbach then. This type of design was admired in 1968 by the architectural staff at UC Berkeley.  L. 30 inches.  W. 23 inches.
