Hearst Museum object titled Shawl, accession number 5-16708, described as silk (?) shawl; grosgrain weave with blue and green 5.5cm band separated by 1.5cm yellow bands decorated with supplementary weft float of yellow in each blue/green stripe. finished with 13cm warp fringe on each end.
Hearst Museum object titled Shawl, accession number 5-16039, described as Itagbi" (1940s) shawl of membership in the "Oshugbo" (Ijibeu ogboni). "Agemo" is the deity worshipped west of the Ijibu Ode in Isnosan. his symbol is a chameleon. turtle can be his messenger. the body of the shawl is of handspun thread. the supplementary warp design is of European machine spun thread. L = 87.5 cm.
Hearst Museum object titled Shawl, accession number 5-16697, described as Kente cloth shawl; 5 narrow strips sewn together to form a shawl with fringes on each end (blue). colors include golden yellow, green, dark red, royal blue, black and white. alternating patterns of basket like design, colored stripes and solid blue sections.
