: Hearst Museum object titled Bag, accession number 2-5802, described as Skin and cloth. Braided sinew drawstring with tassels; elaborate thread embroidery; multicolored; fur trim. Long sinew string to carry the bag (like a European woman's shoulder pouch); elaborately embroidered on both sides on a black dyed leather, quillwork in geometric motifs (white, red, blue); fringed with fur. Black dye was colored with blood and molybdenite.
